Oct 22, 2020 - New Microsoft account migration
Today Mojang have announced that Java edition will require linking a Microsoft account in order to use in the future.
This change is going to affect ATLauncher and most other third party launchers for Minecraft.
Our advice right now is that if you use ATLauncher or any other third party launcher or program that requires logging into or authenticating with Minecraft, that you do not migrate your account until the programs you use give the all clear that they support the new Microsoft login system when it's in place.

Aug 7, 2019 - Update 3.3.1.0 - Servers and Curse Modpacks
Version 3.3.1.0 of ATLauncher has just released adding in 2 new features.
First there is now a Servers tab on the launcher. New servers that you create through the launcher will now show up in the Servers tab and will allow you to launcher, backup and delete servers. No more will you need to go into the folder manually and figure out how to run the server you just created.
While most people will probably want to run servers on another computer or host, this allows those wanting quick and simple servers running in minutes.
The second feature is the ability to install Curse modpacks within ATLauncher. While ATLauncher is, and always will be about showcasing community packs built on the platform, Curse is a major platform with a lot of packs. Trying to ignore Curse is a futile task, so we've added the ability to install packs within ATLauncher.
Simply visit the Packs tab and click the new Add Curse Pack and paste in a CurseForge modpack url or zip file and ATLauncher will install the pack for you like any other pack on ATLauncher.
There will not be an interface to browse and install packs like there is for ATLauncher packs, but this feature will allow for users who wish to just install and play the odd pack from Curse directly within ATLauncher, without the need for another launcher.
If you find any issues with these new features, or have any feedback, please let us know in our Discord server.
Jun 24, 2019 - Easy install mods are here!
ATLauncher 3.2.9.0 just released which adds a few new cool features.
For starters you can now choose the version of Minecraft Forge or Fabric to install when installing the Vanilla Minecraft with Forge and Vanilla Minecraft with Fabric packs.
Previously you'd install the latest version at the time, but now you can choose the version, and simply reinstall the pack to update to a newer version if one comes out (note that your added mods will not be removed when you do this, so it's even easier).
You can now also install mods from Curse directly into those packs from within ATLauncher. Simply click the Add Mods button on the instance and you'll be able to browse mods from Curse and search for mods to add to the instance.
Simply find the mod you want to add, select the version of the mod to install (note that some mods ship both Forge and Fabric versions of their mods, so you'll need to check which one to install first) and then click Add and the mod will be downloaded and installed into the instance, ready to use, without leaving the launcher.
One other fix was that previously Minecraft 1.6 and below had issues with sounds not working. This has now been fixed, and you simply need to reinstall to fix the sounds.
That's it. Have fun modding. And any issues, please let us know in our Discord server.
Jun 7, 2019 - Featured Packs
ATLauncher version 3.2.6.0 has just released which includes a new Featured Packs tab.
Featured Packs are packs that the ATLauncher team select that are featured. They're packs that we recommend you try out if you're looking for a different experience that you may be used to playing.
These are packs that may be using up to date versions of Minecraft with the latest mods as well as packs that are unique and interesting and we think people will enjoy playing them.
So give them a go, install them and play them, you might find something fun.
There is no dearth of custom app launchers for Android and each has its set of merits and demerits. Like the TouchWiz launcher I was using on my Samsung Note 10.1, which was otherwise pretty cool, kept troubling me with app sorting. If you have used TouchWiz you might have noticed that there is no way a user can arrange the apps in any order automatically.
Also, as old programs are uninstalled, gaps are created in the app drawer which are not filled up unless a new app is installed.
That was enough for me to look into some alternatives available on the Play Store. So here are few of them that (nearly) impressed me. Oh, and there's also a cool tip for TouchWiz users (who are not ready to quit it yet) towards the end of this post, so make sure you read this one till the end.
GO Launcher HD
Go Launcher HD is an exclusive tablet version of the launcher Go EX Launcher. The best thing about the app is that it's free to use without any ads and provides the best user experience. The app drawer shows all the apps in alphabetical order by default and a user can change it to the frequency of usage or install date as well. The app drawer also lists all the currently running apps under the Running section and the apps can be killed with a single tap to free up the RAM.
Adding app to the home screen and creating of folders is also quite easy. One feature that was really impressive was the built-in feature of gesture recognition. With this feature, you can assign gestures to your most frequently apps and launch them without entering the app drawer.
Apex Launcher
Apex Launcher is an easy to use launcher for basic users on Android tablets but as an advanced user, you can configure almost all its elements using the launcher settings. One can customize the grid layout, icon size and so much more. One feature exclusive to Apex launcher is Apex actions. These act like shortcut buttons that can be added to the home screen to perform specific tasks like locking the device, opening recent apps etc.
One feature I like about the app is the hard coded Google search bar at the top of every home screen. With Google Now on tablets running Jelly Bean and above, it really proves useful. There's a pro version of the app available with extended features at $3.99. Cisdem pdf converter ocr 7 5 0.
Chameleon Launcher
Chameleon Launcher for Android is a paid launcher priced at $3.99. While the application drawer is very simple with no advanced customization options, the real power of the launcher lies in widgets and profile based home screens.
Chameleon Launcher comes with many HTML5 based widgets such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter which look neat on a tablet. These widgets provide you real-time updates on the home screen itself and if you like transparent apps, Chameleon can really impress you. You can also apply different wallpapers for different home screens and change your Wi-Fi, GPS other few settings along with apps in the dock as you swipe between different home screens. The only thing is that there is no lite version of the app available to try before paying for the pro version.
Cool Tip For TouchWiz Users
If like me, you too are annoyed by TouchWiz's haphazard app drawer then AppZorter for TouchWiz can help you with that. Download and install the app on your Samsung device and select the order of sorting you would like. Having done that, just tap on the Sort button. That's all, the app will be sorted automatically. On tablets a user might have to increase the app per page manually by entering the maximum number of apps that can fit a page.
The app doesn't do sorting in real-time and a user would have to manually do that after uninstalling a couple of apps.
Conclusion
If you ask me, it's tough to choose from the above ones. All offer a specific set of features and seem to be a value for money, free or otherwise. Adobe lightroom classic 9 2 tnt.
So which of these is going to be your next launcher for Android tablet? If you wish to recommend a launcher which is not in the list, just drop a comment. Also, don't forget to mention what's the best thing you like in your favorite launcher.
